Description

A Transition looking glass in carved and gilded wood, made in Strasbourg. The upper part shows a lyre with a shell and a garland. The ogee profil of the frame is decorated with engraved rococo and vegetal ornaments. The original mercury glass is hand bevelled.

Period : circa 1760 – 1770
