An oil painting on canvas, by Lucien Blumer (1871-1947), depicting a view of Strasbourg. The painter placed himself in front of the Pons Couverts in the Petite France, and shows the “Hans von Altheimturm” on the left, and the “Heinrichsturm” on the right. The Vauban dam can also be seen behind the two towers. In the distance, to the left of the painting, a chimney is rising, with smoke coming out of it. In the lower left-hand corner of the canvas is the signature “Blumer” and the date “1910”.
