Description
A pair of small soft-paste porcelain Medici vases, made by the manufactury of the Duc de Villeroy in Mennecy circa 1770 – 1780. On a twisted circular foot stands the polylobed vase. « Petit feu » decor of flowers and bouquets of flowers in fine quality. A purple border runs around the rim of the vase.
Signed in hollow under the foot «D.V. » for Duc de Villeroy.
