A silver and cristal drageoir, made between 1798 and 1809 in Strasbourg by the silversmith Jean-Louis Buttner, (active between 1786 and 1840). The title of the silver is .950. Yet Strasbourg silversmith usually used .800 silver. It is probably due to a special request from a Parisian client.
