Description
A figurine carved in wood then varnished in red, around 1800. The represented character is holding his head in his hand and has a expression of despair on in face. His clothing let us think that it might be a revolutionary souvenir, as he is wearing a Phrygian cap and pants (way less common than culottes before the French Revolution).
