Description
A carved wooden cabinet door crest, Alsace circa 1660-1680. The carved element is made of walnut and features the Auricular style, recognizable by its ornemental scrolls. A musketeer is depicted in relief at the top of the piece, while this position is typically occupied by an angel’s head.
