A drawing based on two colors technique on chalk; white chalk and black stone. The paper used is a may-stone and was made in the 19th century. The drawing is anonymous but takes over the iconographic codes of Jean-Baptiste Oudry (1686-1755) who is recognized as an illustrious animal painter.
The drawing depicts the immediacy of a the fight, with the visible fangs between a dog and a cat.
