Description

A pair of bronze andiron fronts in a Louis XV-Louis XVI transition style, used to hide and adorn a fireplace andiron. Each of them is made out of bronze and was originally fully gilded. They are presenting a rinceau curve ending with a fluted column.

Dated: circa 1780

Height: 25,4 cm one ; 25,3 cm the other
Width: 25,4 cm one ; 23,4 cm the other
Profondeur : 13,7 cm one ; 14,3 cm the other

Condition: good ; the gilding is very worn out
