The surface of water reflects trees in summertime. In the background, we can distinguish the Vosges mountain blue ligne.
The painting is signed in the lower left corner “René Allenbach”.
On the back, there is the inscription: “To my sister Blanche for her 21st spring, November 26, 1927 Marcel”
