A wax statue of Saint John the Baptist, sitting in a cave next to God’s lamb. The decor is original, made from various materials: among others, wax, glass shards, real shells, fabrics. On the cross, a phylactery says: “Ecce Aegnus Dei”. In the very lower part of the decoration, there’s an inscription mentioning: “Johannes Baptista”. The neoclassical showcase with fluted pilasters is in original walnut wood.
