A copper engraving presenting a head-to-toe portrait of French general Jean-Baptiste Kléber, during the French campain in Egypt, more precisely in Cairo. We can see Gizeh pyramids in the left side of the background, right above the fence. This engraving was drawn by André Dutertre (1753-1842) and engraved (“Sculpt.”) by Antoine Maxime Monsaldi (1768-1816), as mentioned in the lower section.
