A sculpted polychrome wood statue of Christ Child, made in South Italy or Spain in the 18th century. He is standing with welcoming open arms with a slight toward movement. His left hand is turn upwards and was perhaps originally holding a sphere. while his right hand shows a benediction gesture. His face is calm and he is sketching a little smile. Eyes are in glass. His hair are brown and curly. He is placed on a gilt-wooden base with mouldings.
