A mirror with a “cassetta” frame in walnut with an inverted profile. It presents an inlaid decoration of vegetal motifs in the corners, framed by two friezes of guilloche in blackened wood. The central glass is tinned with mercury.
The angle marquetry recalls the ornaments on the doors of the Dutch cabinets of the second half of the seventeenth century.
