Description
A watercolor by Dorette Muller (1894-1975) from the first half of the 20th century. It depicts a young Alsatian couple in traditional costumes, represented in a childlike style. The Alsatian girl is plucking the petals off a daisy while the young boy anxiously awaits the end of her refrain. A half-timbered house overlooks the hill in the background.
The work is signed “Dorette Muller” in the lower right corner.
