Four wash drawings on paper, second half of the 18th century
A set of four wash drawings on paper, based on the work of Jean Asselyn (1610-1652) during the second half of the 18th century.
The latter shows views inspired by the discovery of Herculaneum and Pompeii ruin’s during the middle of the 18th century.
Theses drawings shows the following places : Aquafarelle grotte, Lorette’s fountain, Friscati aqueduct and the Maioir palace.
