Description
A wood-inlay Renaissance cabinet, made in South Germany circa 1560-1580. The front, top and sides are ornated whereas the bac in veneered. The decor is full of arabesques, fake marbles, fountains, soldiers, animals (bears, rabbits, dogs, eagles, elephant, dromedary, cheetah). Four small drawers are hidden behind the back wall of the alcove.
