Description

A China porcelain beauty spot box made circa 1750 in Meissen after Johann Joachim Kändler’s model. The box has the shape of a grape picker pannier with a mirror under the lid.

A similar snuff box is conserved in the Rikjsmuseum in Amsterdam.
