A ball note-book/aide-mémoire with hinged covers of mother mother–of–pearl plaques, made in Paris circa 1812. The interior consists of various pages and a small mirror. Its gilt-silver hinge is engraved like book with the inscriptions on the back “1812″ and “souvenir.” Clasped with gilt-silver pencil.
