Description
An oil on canvas painting made by René Allenbach (1889-1958). In the middle of a rural landscape, we can see a typical Alsatian timber-framed house, with a wall section supporting a porte-cochère and a pedestrian door. In the right section of the painting, two women are fussing around a fountain surrounded by sandstone benches. The composition is inside a golden frame, and signed in the lower right corner.
