A glazed terracotta from Soufflenheim, representing a woman holding her hips, forming a candlestick. On her head is a dark blue hat, on which the candle is supposed to be placed. The black jacket she is wearing is closed with three white buttons. The orange dress is decorated with bands of blue S and red stripes. The fingers of the hand and the features of the face, as well as the hair, are black. On the bottom figures the signature “Primavera 7”. This terracotta was made in the context of the Printemps Primavera workshops, created in 1912, which was considered part of the Art déco movement.
