Mosbach bachelor coffee pot

A bachelor faience coffee pot, Mosbach manufacture from the 1780s to 1790. This coffee pot having belonged to a service, it is the only one that would remain of it.

At that time, the Mosbach manufacture was overtaken by other German factories that were perfecting porcelain. Thus, after having served the nobles and the upper bourgeoisie, it is now the people and the lower middle class who favor this factory.
We recognize the colorations from the high-fire technique of copper oxide in green and manganese in black.
