An enameled « terre de pipe » bough pot with gold highlights made in Lunéville or surrounding area, traditionally attributed to Saint-Clément in Lorraine. “Petit feu” fine quality decor with bouquet and garlands on a table behind columns. Quadrangular, it has four fluted feet on the corners. A tray with different holes closes the top. Tulip bulbs and cut flowers were placed inside.
In the 18th century, it was called “caisse à oignons” (oignons case).
