An oil painting on canvas made by the Alsatian painter Luc Hueber (1888-1974) in 1956. On a piece of furniture, a bouquet made out of daffodils and peonies in a vase, next to a giant frog shell, are contrasting with a background going from turquoise to pigeon blue shades. The painter’s touch is very present, and the matter as well as the paintbrush strokes stand out on the canvas. The painting is signed “Luc Hueber 56” in the lower right corner, and is in a golden frame with a white mount.
