Description
A carved and gilded wood Rocaille trumeau, Strasbourg, a Bérain style molded frame surrounds two stacked mirror plates. The upper section features an oil on canvas painting depicting “The Finding of Moses” framed by Rocaille molding with a winged cartouche at the top. Two pilasters, decorated with Rocaille ornamentation at the top and bottom, flank the mirror and the painting.
