A hard-paste porcelain cup and saucer set, made by the Fürstenberg (Swabian) factory, 19th century.
Description
A set of porcelain cup and saucer, made by the Fürstenberg factory (Swabia). The cup is decorated with a floral still life with a butterfly flying over it. This decoration, like the saucer, is enhanced by generous gilding, representing vine leaves, and signed below in blue “F 47”, attesting to its origin and period of production.
Period: circa 1820-1840.
