Description
A white soft-paste porcelain box with silver mounting, made in Paris or surroundings (Mennecy ?). All its exterior faces are carved with small rounded reliefs like basketry. The lid and bottom are decorated with a flower. The silver mounting shows a Parisian hallmark from 1750-1756.
