Louis Hesselbarth – Three Alsatian female peasants

An ink drawing of three Alsatian female peasants, in the middle of a conversation, in what seems to be a grass field. The one in the center is turned backward to us, and is wearing Alsatian headdress and shawl. The drawing is signed “Hesselbarth” on the lower right corner, for Louis Hesselbarth (1893-1976). The drawing is in a “Whistler” frame.
