A Gothic-style finial in pink sandstone dating from between the 18th and 19th centuries.
Description
A Gothic-style fleuron carved in reddish-brown sandstone and mounted on a wooden base. This piece might come from Notre-Dame Cathedral in Strasbourg.
Period: 18th – 19th century.
Dimensions of the finial :
Height: 16 cm
Width: 22 cm
Height with base: 29 cm
Condition: one piece broken and glued.
